These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Friends of Friendz mobile application, website, and related services ("Service"), operated by ALL CAPPS LTD, registered in the United Kingdom.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Friends of Friendz.
  • You may only register once per person, using your own mobile number via SMS verification.
  • The Service is for personal use only. Commercial property listings (e.g., by agents or businesses) are not allowed.

2. Registration and Account Security

  • Users register via mobile phone number and SMS verification.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree not to impersonate others, create fake accounts, or misrepresent your identity.

3. Community Conduct

By using the app, you agree to:

  • Treat others respectfully and lawfully
  • Avoid discriminatory, offensive, or harassing content
  • Not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Not spam or solicit users for commercial purposes

Violations may lead to account suspension or removal.

4. Matching & Messaging

  • All matches (flatmates or "Buddy Up") are user-initiated and require mutual consent.
  • We do not guarantee matches, responses, or success in finding a flatmate or property.
  • In-app chats are not end-to-end encrypted and are monitored only in metadata, not content.

5. User Content

You may upload photos, bios, lifestyle preferences, and reviews. You agree:

  • That you own or have rights to all content you post
  • Not to post anything illegal, offensive, or defamatory
  • That user-generated content may be visible to others based on your settings

We reserve the right to remove or moderate content in violation of these Terms or upon user report.

6. Paid Features & In-App Purchases

We may offer optional freemium features, including:

  • Boosted room requests
  • Unlimited daily requests
  • Match sorting by compatibility

Future features may be subject to fees and processed via Apple Pay or Google Pay. All purchases are subject to the terms of your app store provider.

Prices, features, and availability are subject to change.

7. Platform Availability

We strive to keep the app running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue parts of the Service
  • Temporarily restrict access for maintenance
  • Terminate accounts that violate these Terms

8. Disclaimers

  • We are not responsible for the outcome of any flatmate arrangements or property experiences.
  • We do not verify listings, identities, or housing conditions.
  • Always use your own judgment, conduct due diligence, and meet safely.

We are not liable for any damages, losses, disputes, or incidents that occur offline or outside the platform.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
  • You attempt to bypass security or verification measures

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, and content on the app (except user-generated content) belong to ALL CAPPS LTD. You may not use, copy, or distribute them without permission.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection and use practices are explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Geographic Restrictions

  • The app is available globally but not accessible in China, Russia, or North Korea.
  • You are responsible for complying with local laws in your country of access.

13. Legal & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Disputes may be resolved via informal negotiation or, if needed, via the courts in the UK.

If required by your region (e.g., California, Brazil, EU), you may also lodge complaints with your local data or consumer authority.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we'll notify you via the app. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
